In the 1980s, James Jahn and his family faced a decline in their trucking and moving business, leading them to diversify. Upon a friend's suggestion, they ventured into making gates, eventually closing their trucking business to establish Ranger Gate Company in 1990. Specializing in manufacturing gates, panels, and agricultural products, Ranger Gate utilizes galvanized and hot-dipped steel for durability in South Texas's challenging conditions.
